Selena Gomez's worldwide fame as a performer and actress singing sensation is undeniable. She's been a part of numerous projects, however her involvement in the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place has enjoyed the highest success. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22 of 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were her parents. Selena's mother was just 16 years old when she came into the world. Selena got her first stage show job at the age of nine when she played Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of several children to play with Barney, the infamous anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena participated in a number of episodes in seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 and 2003.
